Bandec

The Banco de Credito y Comercio (BANDEC) was incorporated on November 12, 1997, in keeping with the provisions of Agreement No. 3215 of the Executive Committee of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Cuba and was granted, pursuant to Resolution No. 1 of the Central Bank of Cuba, a general license to provide all types of financial intermediation operations, both in national and foreign currencies, equally in the national territory and overseas; including the offshore banking center, free zones, and industrial parks.

Consequently, it was also registered in the "General Registry of Banks and Non-Banking Financial Institutions", under No. 14, in folios 26 and 27, of December 22, 1998.

The bank´s commercial management is organized based on a market concept and assigns to its commercial divisions, the responsibility of implementing this concept throughout the main segments. Since its inception, BANDEC has been a leader in providing services to the Cuban business sector and to branches of the national economy, thus covering the most important portfolio of clients in the Agricultural and Sugar sectors.

Approximately 10,000 employees and executives are employed in our bank, distributed throughout the Head Office, provincial divisions, and with more than 200 branches in practically all the municipalities in the country.
